Le P'tit Mousset - IGP Méditerranée - 75 cl
0.5 ha cultivated for a blend of 60% Grenache blanc; 20% of Roussanne and 20% of Rolle.
Production: 1200 bottles/year and 200 Magnums/year
Very pale, clear and bright, typical of young wines mostly from Grenache, the color announces a lot of freshness.
The nose is fine and very pleasant, floral and fruity, with notes of vine peach, pear, citrus. The vines are young and the first 2 vintages were rather technical, however the result is very attractive.
In the mouth, the combination freshness - minerality - fruitiness clearly indicates that we are in the lower Rhone valley. The aromas are present and the mouth is greedy.
A "pretty little white" that we already like a lot, to open the first 2 years if you like wines on their freshness with shellfish, crustaceans, seafood, charcuterie, cheeses, quiches, "raw" or grilled fish. We can wait a little when we prefer the rounder and complex wines (candied fruit, acacia honey...) to open with vol-au-vent, crespéou, white meat and creamy sauce, sautéed pork with oyster mushrooms or cheeses a little more mature.
